The resort can provide tailored, fully inclusive spa and wellness packages that blend both Eastern and Western philosophies, as well as cater to group therapy sessions. I had a wellness consultation the morning after arriving, where I received dietary advice and was offered supplements to increase my energy levels and balance my nutrition.

Kamalaya Koh Samui is located on the serene coasts of Thailand. You can get to Kamalaya from the airport in around 40 minutes and the flight between Bangkok and Koh Samui is close to an hour. The resort is a Buddhist-inspired destination, where the landscape and the resort itself weaves around a sacred hill that perfects a feeling of relaxation.

A stay at Kamalaya offers breathtaking views with tropical gardens and waterfalls. The resort itself provides a variety of rooms to suit all budgets and different types of travelers. Each room comes with an information folder that greets guests with meditation techniques, pictures about some of the foods served, and a weekly schedule for different classes to take part in.

It literally included a superfood buffet with more types of vegetables than I even knew about. Access to healthy foods like fruits, nuts, seeds, grains, and vegetables are abundant at the resort. Expect fresh homemade breads, wheatgrass shots, salads, fruit, nuts, seed, tea when enjoying a meal to start the day.
